Peer Review Process
All published manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the appropriate field and subspecialty. For each submitted manuscript, the peer reviewers are asked to judge the credibility, documentation, level of proof, quality of illustration, quality of writing, appropriateness and depth of literature review, and contribution to the field. Upon publication, registered readers may post ratings and comments about individual articles through a moderated forum process.
Publication Frequency
Radiology Case Reports will publish articles on a continuing basis as soon as they complete the peer review, revision, editing, and production process. Articles will be aggregated into quarterly issues and annual volumes.
Open Access Policy
Radiology Case Reports is an open access journal that welcomes anyone to view the full contents of the articles as soon as they are published. We do not charge subscription fees nor user access fees. Authors and institutions are encouraged to deposit the work published in this journal in institutional repositories and eprint archives.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Informed Consent
Patients have a right to privacy that should not be infringed without informed consent. In general, patient identifiers are unnecessary for case reports, and such identifiers should be omitted from manuscripts submitted to RCR. However, in the rare event that such information is essential for scientific purposes, the patient (or guardian) must give written informed consent for publication of this information. When such consent is given, this fact will be noted in the published article.
Conflict of Interest
Conflict of interest exists when authors, reviewers or editors have financial or personal relationships that may inappropriately bias their actions. We ask all authors, reviewers and editors to inform us of any proprietary or commercial interest or conflicts of interests the authors may have that are related directly or indirectly to the subject of an article.
Call For Papers
Radiology Case Reports began publication in January, 2006. We invite you to support the first peer-reviewed journal established specifically to publish case reports in radiology by submitting case report manuscripts for publication.
To submit a case for review, you will first need to register with the site as an author (there is no charge for this). When you log in as an author, you will be guided through the submission process.
